I helped create the curriculum and currently facilitate a group therapy program for older adults struggling with grief, depression and anxiety due to life transitions at Loma Linda Behavior Medicine Center.
In my private practice, my therapy starts with a clear and specific treatment plan with very specific and measurable goals. My approach is based on CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) with a focus on quick results.

My goal for all my clients is to be able to face adversity without the suffering in emotional intensity. Our thoughts occur so rapidly that we often are not fully aware of how they affect us. I help bring the subconscious to the consciousness to increase awareness and heal. I believe that everyone can use language, in their own thoughts to create helpful behaviors and manage emotions.
